The story
Nothing is done to this honey after it leaves the comb except straining out the wax. It is never heated, because heating is what kills the enzymes and gives commercial honey its permanent, suspicious clarity.
The flavour changes through the year with whatever is flowering — lighter and floral after the spring bloom, darker and almost smoky by autumn. We do not blend batches to even this out.
It will crystallise in cold months. That is the honest behaviour of real honey. Stand the jar in warm water and it returns.

Check the spoon
Raw honey is thick and slow. If it runs like syrup, it has been heated.

Never boil it
Stir it into warm water, not hot, or you undo the reason you bought it.

Stand the jar in warm water for ten minutes. Crystallisation is a feature.
Questions
What exactly am I getting?
This one is 325 g, 24 months from the day it is made, and it is daily use, warm water, and honest toast. Every batch is prepared by hand in Heul Valley.
Is it really made from farm-grown ingredients?
Yes. The herbs, turmeric and milk come from our own farms and neighbouring households in Heul Valley. We buy nothing from commodity wholesalers, which is also why our batches are small and occasionally sell out.
Will it suit sensitive skin?
There is no synthetic fragrance, no sulphate and no paraben in anything we make, which is what usually causes trouble. That said, botanicals are still active ingredients, so patch-test on your inner arm and wait a day before you use anything new on your face.
Why does the colour or smell vary between orders?
Because the harvest varies. Turmeric grown in a wetter year is a deeper ochre, and the honey changes with whatever is flowering. We do not correct any of it with dye or fragrance, so a little variation between batches is the honest result.
How long does delivery take?
Orders leave our workshop within two working days. Metros usually receive in three to five days, the rest of India in five to eight. Everything ships plastic-free, so nothing arrives wrapped in what we spent years keeping out of our products.
Can I return it?
Unopened items can come back within fourteen days for a full refund. If something arrives damaged or turns out faulty, write to us with a photograph and we will replace it, opened or not.
